Dr. Giuliana Isabella is a professor at Insper, holding a Ph.D. with Honors in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing from the University of São Paulo. She pursued part of her doctoral studies at Temple University's Center for Neural Decision Making in Philadelphia. At Insper, she serves as the Coordinator of the Actus Lab consumer behavior research laboratory and the Insper Research Ethics Committee (IRB). Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as Marketing for undergraduates, Consumer Behavior for Professional Master' and PhD' students, and a Consumer Behavior in Latin America for International MBA students. She has also international (Latin American) teaching and research experience extends across borders. She was a visiting scholar at the Universidad del Pacífico and UTEC, both in Peru. And, she has held the position of Distinguished International Professor at the Universidad de La Sabana in Colombia from 2020 to 2024, engaging in research partnerships.

As a researcher, Giuliana focuses on consumer behavior, decision-making, emotions, facial expressions, experimental psychology, and neuroscience applied to marketing. She has received prestigious awards nationally and internationally, including the Honorable Mention from the Brazilian Ministry of Education - CAPES Thesis Award, United National - Principles for Responsible Management Education Recognition Award and the Janet Kelly Best Student Paper Award from Business Association of Latin America Studies (BALAS). She is a member of the Analytical Marketing Research Center at Insper and actively contributes as a reviewer for international and national journals. She is highly active in Latin American conferences such as BALAS and ACR-LA, as well as she is affiliated with the Association for Consumer Research participating in events in Asian and North American. Her research has garnered funding from the Brazilian Ministry of Education and has been published in reputable marketing journals in Brazil and internationally (as JBR, P&M, EJM).

Dr. Maura Ferreira is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Insper and a former visiting scholar at Owen Business School at Vanderbilt University. She received her PhD from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil) and a Masters and a BS (Management) from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil). Her research explores topics that aim to contribute to solving real-world problems faced by consumers. These topics are related, but not limited, to consumers' socioeconomic status, prosocial behavior, and food consumption.

Due to its focus, Maura's research is highly interdisciplinary, drawing upon theories and methods from cognitive and social psychology, consumer psychology, marketing, and economics. She has been honored with Brazilian Federal Government Scholarships and her research has been funded by the Brazilian Ministry of Education. Maura's work has appeared in top Marketing journals in Brazil and internationally. Maura is a member of the Association for Consumer Research and is highly committed to promoting consumer behavior research conducted by Brazilian researchers. In her free time, Maura enjoys traveling and finding new spots in São Paulo, including restaurants, art galleries, and new streets to stroll and appreciate the buildings' architecture.

Dr. Carlos Bauer is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Culverhouse School of Business at The University of Alabama (Ph.D. University of Texas in San Antonio) and a “Fellow” at the Center for Sales and Marketing Strategies at the Foster School of Business at The University of Washington. As a consumer strategist, his research interests include marketing strategy, relationship marketing, customer loyalty, and two-sided markets. He is particularly interested in researching the dynamic components of relationship marketing - how they change and evolve. Also, Dr. Bauer is interested in studying the applicability of different marketing strategies from a dynamic perspective. He aims to understand these marketing strategies and applications from the perspectives of the firm and the customer. To that effect, Dr. Bauer firmly believes in the importance of incorporating a multi-method research approach.

Dr. Bauer has presented his research at several conferences, including AMA, ACR, and SCP, and published his research in different marketing journals. He has been recognized with several honors and awards. He is a 2019 Early-career Marketing Strategy Fellow, a 2017 American Marketing Association/Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium Fellow, a recipient of the 2017 American Marketing Association Valuing Diversity scholarship, and a 2016 ISBM Fellow.

His background includes managerial positions at large firms in the U.S. and overseas. This experience allows him to incorporate managerially relevant issues in the classroom. In his personal time, Dr. Bauer enjoys spending time with family, cooking, and traveling.

Julio Sevilla is Professor of Marketing at the Terry College of Business, University of Georgia. He received his PhD from the University of Miami, an MBA from Florida International University, and a BS (Industrial Engineering) from Universidad Americana (in Nicaragua). Julio's main research interests include consumer behavior, consumption and healthiness, retailing / packaging, numeric cognition /pricing and multicultural marketing. His research has appeared in leading marketing journals, including Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, Journal of Applied Psychology and Journal of Consumer Psychology.

Julio's work received the Research in Practice Award by the American Marketing Association (AMA) Consumer Behavior Special Interest Group (CBSIG) for 2016, an honor granted to the best consumer behavior paper published across all top journals during that year. Julio has been recognized as an Marketing Science Institute (MSI) Young Scholar for 2021, has served as Vice- President for Programming for the CBSIG, as Associate Editor for the flagship Winter AMA Conference multiple times, and is currently an Editorial Board Member at Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Marketing and Journal of Consumer Psychology. He has also been ranked in the top 30 of the research productivity ranking at top AMA journals during the last decade by AMA DOCSIG for several consecutive years. Julio also serves as a frequent business analyst on several shows at CNN en Espanol, the worldwide leading Spanish-speaking news network, as well as in several other outlets.

Daniela has over 20 years of experience leading businesses in consumer goods companies such as Unilever, Heineken, and PepsiCo. She has held positions in Marketing and Innovation in Brazil and Latin America. She is one of the top 100 leaders with the highest reputation in Brazil by the Merco Ranking. Forbes has also named Daniela as one of the most influential women in Brazil and one of the Best CMOs in the country.

June has served as President of the Association for Consumer Research, and is currently Co-Editor of the Journal of Consumer Research. In addition, she is a Co-founder of the “Designing Your Career in the Marketing Academy” initiative, designed for young female marketing scholars. Professor Cotte's research interests focus on behavioral issues, including why and when people will pay more for ethically produced products, how people perceive time and how that influences their behavior at work and at leisure, family influence on behavior, and consumption issues in gambling.

Rajesh Bagchi is the R.B. Pamplin Professor of Marketing and Associate Dean for Research, Graduate Programs, and Centers at the Pamplin College of Business, Virginia Tech. Rajesh studies how consumers can be nudged into making better decisions for themselves and for societal well-being. His research lies at the intersection of several fields, including marketing, psychology, economics, finance, and education. Rajesh's research encompasses the entire gamut of consumer decision-making—from information processing, to making a purchase, to post-purchase evaluations.

Rajesh's research has been published in several journals such as the Journal of Consumer Psychology, the Journal of Consumer Research, the Journal of Marketing, andthe Journal of Marketing Research. Rajesh serves as Co-Editor for the Journal of Consumer Psychology and has served as an Associate Editor for several journals, including the Journal of Consumer Research. Rajesh is consistently ranked among the Top 30 most productive scholars worldwide and is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Society for Consumer Psychology's Early Career Award in 2015, and was named as a Marketing Science Institute Young Scholar in 2013 and Scholar in 2020.
